
Beau Ambur
Beau has dedicated most of his working life to building better applications. A top developer in the interactive industry, Beau has worked with Flash since the release of Flash 3, and with Silverlight since pre-alpha builds. Beau debuted one of the first Silverlight 2 applications, the Top Banana browser-based video editor, during the Mix 2007 keynote and around the world at various reMix events. Among his other professional interests are speaking internationally on Multimedia Technology, and residing as President of the San Francisco Macromedia User Forum. His awards and recognition include the Webbys, FWA, Flash Forward Film Festival, Communication Arts Interactive Annual, and Internet World Wireless Best of Show.
Michael Lucaccini
For over a decade, Michael has been managing large-scale, innovative technology projects for companies such as Adobe, Microsoft, AOL, Autodesk/Discreet and Salesforce.com. In his role at Metaliq, Michael leads the company’s production team, focusing his efforts on innovation, creativity and quality. He is also a key contributor to Metaliq’s business development activities, helping to provide continuity across each project and professional engagement.
Before joining Metaliq, Michael spent four years at Autodesk, Discreet Division, where he was responsible for several successful software releases of 3ds Max. In addition to his experience in technology, Michael has an abiding interest and background in people and process, both from a career and educational standpoint. He has worked in fields as varied as healthcare, public policy and psychology.
Michael Kemper
Kemper has professionally directed print, interactive, video, and animation projects in every industry vertical for some of the world's largest companies including: AOL, Macromedia / Adobe, Omnicom Group, eBay, Microsoft, HP, Comcast, Six Flags, Qwest, RKO Pictures, Vail Resorts, Yahoo! and several others. He is the recipient of several Art Director's Club and Addy Awards and has been recognized by eDesign Magazine and Communication Arts Magazine's Interactive Annual for motion graphics and information design. As Metaliq's Creative Director, Kemper recruits, mentors and manages our team of designers. He is the production liaison responsible for balancing business, design and technical requirements for each project.
Kemper is also a dedicated educator and mentor in the design community. He is an instructor at the Academy of Art San Francisco’s School of Digital Arts + Communications MFA program and lectures on the topic of motion graphics and experience design for digital media at select events. Kemper has written several design tutorials and training guides and is co-author of Advanced Flash Interface Design published Internationally by Apress / friends of ED.
